Mount Wise Stadium to Host Giant Outdoor Screening of Women’s Euro 2025 Final This Sunday

One of the biggest matches in women’s football will be shown live on a giant LED screen at Mount Wise Stadium in Newquay this Sunday, 28th July. Kick-off is at 5pm, and tickets are just £2.

Support the Lionesses and Local Talent

All proceeds from the screening will go directly to Newquay AFC’s Women’s Team, with the event set to boost grassroots women’s football in the town.

“We wanted to do something that brings the whole community together for this historic moment in women’s football,” said Scott Trayner, Manager of WAX Sports Bar. “It’s a chance to cheer on the Lionesses while directly supporting the local football club in Newquay.”

Family-Friendly Atmosphere at Mount Wise

Gates open at 3pm, with early arrival encouraged to grab a good viewing spot. The screening is family-friendly, and spectators are welcome to bring camp chairs, picnic blankets and plenty of team spirit.

With England one win away from lifting the European trophy, organisers say it’s shaping up to be one of Cornwall’s most exciting football events this summer.
