Padel Courts Upgraded in Newquay as Sport Gains Summer Popularity

With the summer holidays in full swing and the bank holiday weekend just around the corner, padel is making its mark as Cornwall’s sport of the season. Described as “fast-paced, fun, and perfect for bringing families and friends together,” it offers an active, outdoor option for anyone looking to try something new over the long weekend.

“It’s a fantastic way to stay active, spend time outdoors, and try something new over the long weekend.”

What is Padel?

Padel is played on an enclosed court about a third the size of a tennis court, using rules similar to tennis and comparable balls. Its easy-to-learn format makes it ideal for those new to racket sports, while still offering enough challenge for players aiming to master their skills.

Upgraded Facilities in Newquay

UK PADEL has recently refurbished and upgraded its five courts at the SeaSpace Aparthotel in Newquay. The team regularly hosts competitions and social sessions, creating what they describe as “a warm, inclusive community where beginners and experienced players come together to share their passion for the game.”
