Woman in Her 80s Dies After A392 Collision Near Newquay
Police have confirmed that a woman in her 80s who was seriously injured in a collision near Newquay earlier this week has died.
Collision Reported on 26th November
Emergency services were called at around 9.50am on Wednesday 26th November following a collision on the A392 at White Acres. The incident involved a red Ford Fiesta and a yellow JCB tractor.
A local woman in her 80s was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries. Police confirmed that she died on Thursday.
Road Closed for Investigation
The road was reopened by 2.15pm on Wednesday after collision investigators examined the scene and the vehicle was recovered.
Police Appeal for Information
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who may have relevant dash cam footage, to come forward. Information can be reported via 101 or through the police website, quoting reference 50250303279.
This appeal remains ongoing as officers work to understand the full circumstances of the collision.
