The Admiral Nurse team from Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) has made waves at the inaugural Dementia Care Awards, securing two prestigious honours.
The awards, which highlight exemplary practices in dementia services, saw the team recognised for their exceptional contributions.
Double Honours for Caroline Ellis and Her Team
Caroline Ellis, Strategic Lead Admiral Nurse, received the Dementia Nurse Award, acknowledging her outstanding dedication and impact in the field. In addition, Caroline and her team were celebrated with the Dementia Outreach Award for their innovative Supporting Ahead Programme (SAP).

I’m overjoyed that the spotlight is on our amazing admiral nurses and that Cornwall is being recognised as a hotbed for innovation.”
