People across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly are being encouraged to share their views on the future of local health and care services as part of Caring Where It Matters — a new NHS communications and engagement campaign.

Shaping Care Closer to Home

Launched by NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board (ICB), the campaign invites residents, community groups and partners to help shape plans for delivering more services closer to home.

Feedback can be shared by completing an online survey, speaking to NHS teams who will be visiting local communities in the coming weeks, or attending a series of engagement events taking place over the next few months.

A key part of the campaign highlights new services already improving access to care across the region, including:

Have Your Say

Local people’s feedback will contribute to the development of a new Cornwall and Isles of Scilly 5-year health and care plan, aligned to the NHS 10 Year Health Plan.

Susan Bracefield, Acting Chief Executive of NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly ICB, said:

“We want to make it easier for people to get the right care, in the right place, closer to home across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, which aligns to the NHS 10 Year Health Plan. To do that, we need to hear from the people who use our services every day and local people who may need to use services in the future. Whether you complete the online survey, speak to our teams when you see them out in your community, or want your organisation or support group to be invited to a local engagement event, your voice will help shape the future of health and care across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.”

How to Get Involved

🩵 Complete the online survey — open until Monday 15th December 2025.
🩵 Discover NHS teams in your community at local venues and events.
🩵 Email ciosicb.engagement@nhs.net to request that your organisation or support group be invited to a local engagement event.
🩵 Find out more at cios.icb.nhs.uk.

Details of where NHS teams will be visiting will be shared on NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly’s website and social media channels.

The next phase of Caring Where It Matters, beginning in the new year, will include local partnership events across 2025–26 to help shape neighbourhood health plans.
