Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Padstow Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious collision in Padstow yesterday, 18th September.

Emergency Services Called to A389

Emergency services were called around 5.15pm following a collision between a white Hyundai saloon and a grey Benelli motorcycle on the A389 outside The Retreats, Padstow Holiday Park.

The 18-year-old male motorcyclist from Newquay sustained serious life-changing injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

The female car driver was uninjured.

Road Closed for Several Hours

Roads policing officers closed the road until around 8.45pm while investigative work took place at the scene.

Appeal for Information

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to come forward.
