Padstow Confirms Full Line Up for Christmas Fayre 2025
Padstow is gearing up for a packed four days of festive food, music and family fun as the brand new Padstow Christmas Fayre arrives from 4th to 7th December 2025. The event is free to attend and will also support three charities: The Fisherman’s Mission, Hospitality Action and Padstow Lifeboat.
Ben Carrington, one of the organisers, said: “We’re excited to welcome visitors to the new Padstow Christmas Fayre this weekend. Our aim is to celebrate the incredible talent, flavours and festive spirit that makes Padstow and Cornwall so special.
From artisan food producers, to live demonstrations with exceptional chefs, live music, children’s crafts and a beautiful array or local makers and producers, there is heaps to explore. We can’t wait to share the magic with everyone from Thursday.”
Food, Chefs and Live Demos
Food lovers will have plenty to enjoy, with 50 live chef demonstrations from well known names including Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth, Emily Scott, Mark Hix, Mitch Tonks, Rick Toogood, Charlie Walters, Olly Smith and Chris Eden.
The Chef’s Theatre is free with standing and seated areas available on a first come first serve basis. VIP tickets guaranteeing a front row seat have already sold out for Friday and Saturday, with limited availability left for Thursday and Sunday.
Visitors can see the full chef lineup at the Padstow Christmas Fayre website.
Markets, Music, Lanterns and Fireworks
A Christmas Market and craft fair will fill the Memorial Hall, featuring independent makers, producers and artisans offering festive gifts and Cornish food.
On Friday at 6pm the harbour streets will be lit up by a community lantern parade, followed by an 8pm fireworks display sponsored by Padstow Harbour Commissioners as a gift to the community.
Live music from local groups, choirs and solo performers will take place throughout the weekend on the Band Stand and the Christmas Market stage.
Children’s Crafts and Masterclasses at Prideaux Walled Garden
Free craft workshops for children run on Saturday and Sunday between 10.30 and 1pm at Prideaux Walled Garden. The Bothy Café will be serving hot drinks, mulled wine, stew and fresh bakes.
A range of ticketed masterclasses will also be available, including Christmas wine tasting with local sommelier Elly Owen and Olly Smith, beer tasting with Bluntrock Brewery, and a gardening session on soil health with Emma Restorick of Prideaux Walled Garden.
A New Festive Tradition for Cornwall
Organisers hope the fayre will become a regular feature in Cornwall’s winter calendar. The event aims to bring the community together and celebrate food, craft and Christmas in one of Cornwall’s most iconic harbour towns.
