Warning for Trevone Beach Visitors as Cliff Safety Works Begin Tomorrow
Cliff concerns prompt urgent action
Padstow Town Council has announced that scaling works will take place at Trevone on Monday 13th October 2025 to address an area of concern following signs of cliff erosion.
The council has been monitoring the cliffs and highlighted the risks of unstable cliffs and falling rocks. As part of the works, a contractor will remove hazardous areas and inspect the section further. Safety exclusion zones will be put in place as required.
Cornwall Council has been fully advised and informed of the planned safety measures.

Hazard zone identified
The hazardous area is located to the left of the beach when facing the sea. It is not accessible to the public from above, sitting beyond the stone boundary wall on Trevone Green.
Padstow Town Council reminded visitors that there are several permanent warning signs along this stretch of coastline about unstable cliffs. The council said this situation highlights the importance of reading and following safety signage at all times.
