Unsecured Vehicles Targeted in Par: Police Appeal for Information
St Austell Police have issued an appeal after a spate of vehicle thefts in the Par area over the past 48 hours. Reports indicate that individuals have been trying car doors, with several incidents concentrated around Par Lane overnight.
Unlocked Vehicles Targeted
According to police, some vehicles were left unlocked, allowing access to items inside without forced entry. Unfortunately, valuables have been taken in some cases. Police are urging residents to double-check that their vehicles are secured and to remove any items of value, especially overnight.
Evidence Appeal
Police are currently in the evidence-gathering stage and are asking anyone with relevant footage, such as from ring doorbells or similar devices, to come forward. Additionally, those who have experienced similar incidents but have not yet reported them are encouraged to contact the authorities.
Stay Vigilant
While investigations continue, residents are reminded to be vigilant about vehicle security to reduce the risk of further incidents.
For those with information or footage that may assist in identifying suspects, St Austell Police ask that you report it as soon as possible.
