Appeal for Witnesses After Road Rage Assault Near Penzance
Police are appealing for witnesses after a road rage assault near Penzance that left a driver with minor injuries and caused damage to his car.
What Happened
At around 8.15pm on Saturday 13th December, a driver was involved in a near miss with another vehicle on the Morrisons and McDonald’s roundabout near Penzance.
Following the near miss, the second vehicle followed the victim into the McDonald’s car park and stopped in front of him. All parties then exited their vehicles, where a verbal exchange took place.
Assault and Damage
During the incident, the passenger from the second vehicle assaulted the victim by shoving him. The passenger then punched and kicked the victim’s car, causing damage.
The victim sustained minor injuries, while his car’s wing mirror and door were also damaged.
Appeal for Witnesses
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant footage, to come forward.
