Pensioner Suffers Life-Changing Injuries After Collision in Penzance

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Penzance on Sunday evening.

Collision on Market Jew Street

Officers were called at around 6.45pm on Sunday 26th October to reports of a collision involving a black Ford Focus and a pedestrian on Market Jew Street, near the junction with Albert Street.

A local man in his 80s sustained life-changing injuries and remains in hospital.

Driver Reported to Court

The driver of the Ford Focus stopped at the scene and has been reported to court for driving without due care and attention.

Appeal for Witnesses

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or may have relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
