Penzance Assault: Police Release Images After Shop Worker Attacked

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify two men following a theft and violent assault in Penzance.

Theft on Market Jew Street

The incident happened on Thursday 10th August, when two people reportedly entered the Sports Direct store on Market Jew Street and stole several items.

After leaving the store, they are said to have attacked a member of staff in a nearby park area.

Victim Left with Serious Injuries

During the assault, the victim was punched and kicked in the face and ribs while on the floor. They suffered a broken nose and two chipped front teeth.

Police Appeal for Information

Officers believe the men pictured may be able to assist with enquiries.

Images of two other men were released on 22nd October as part of the investigation, but following further enquiries, those individuals are no longer sought.

Since the incident, officers have carried out house-to-house enquiries and a detailed CCTV review.

Anyone who can identify the men pictured is asked to contact police via the Devon & Cornwall Police website or by calling 101 quoting 50250207100.
