Police Appeal After Car Stolen from Newlyn Playing Fields

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was stolen near Penzance earlier this month.

Car Disappears from Playing Fields

It was reported that a parked black Mercedes C200 was taken from Newlyn Playing Fields on the afternoon of Tuesday 19th August.

Investigators believe the vehicle may have been removed by being loaded onto a low bed truck.

Police Appeal for Information

A spokesperson said:

“We are appealing for witnesses and information following the theft of a car near Penzance.

Anybody with information or relevant footage is asked to contact us on 101 or via our website quoting 50250217507.”

Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen something suspicious to get in touch.
