Police Appeal After Theft and Assault in Penzance
Police are appealing for help to identify two men following a theft and violent assault in Penzance.
Theft from Sports Direct
The incident happened on Thursday 10th August when two people entered the Sports Direct store on Market Jew Street and stole several items. After leaving the store, they went to a nearby park area where a member of staff was attacked.
Victim Left with Severe Injuries
During the assault, the victim was punched and kicked in the face and ribs while on the ground. They suffered a broken nose and chipped two front teeth as a result of the attack.
Appeal for Information
Officers have carried out several enquiries, including house-to-house visits and reviewing local CCTV footage in and around the area. Images of the two males have also been circulated to local policing teams as part of the investigation.
Police are now asking for the public’s help to identify the men pictured, as they believe they may be able to assist with enquiries.
