Festive Fun and Fundraising: Pool Academy Invites Traders to Christmas Market
Pool Academy to Host Christmas Market Supporting Kenya Expedition
Pool Academy is getting into the festive spirit early and inviting local traders, makers, and small businesses to take part in its Christmas market on Friday 28th November, from 5pm to 8pm in the school’s main hall.
The event, organised by the school which is part of Athena Learning Trust, aims to bring the community together for an evening of stalls, refreshments, and seasonal activities.
Supporting a Life-Changing Trip
Funds raised from the evening will support students who are preparing for a 2026 expedition to Kenya, where they’ll help build classrooms, improve access to clean water, support wildlife conservation, and gain valuable life skills.
Local traders are being encouraged to book a table for £10, along with a small raffle prize donation. It’s an opportunity to showcase products, meet new customers, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
Anyone interested in booking a stall or finding out more can contact msmith@poolacademy.uk.
A Warm Welcome from the School
Nick Ward, Principal at Pool Academy, said:
“We’re really excited to host these fundraising events and welcome our local community to get involved. The Christmas market is a fantastic opportunity to come together, have fun, and support our students in their life changing fundraising efforts.”
