Porthtowan Village Hall to Host “Kernow Kino-Cornish Shorts” Film Night
Porthtowan Village Hall is set to bring a unique cinematic experience to the local community on Friday, 15th March 2024.
The event titled “Kernow Kino-Cornish Shorts” will showcase a collection of ten short films created by local filmmakers. This special film night is dedicated to celebrating the rich diversity of Cornwall’s language, culture, heritage, and communities.
The doors of Porthtowan Village Hall will open at 7pm, welcoming attendees to an evening filled with creativity and community spirit. In addition to the film screenings, the event will offer a bar and refreshments, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Admission to the film night can be secured at the door with affordable options for everyone. C-fylm Adult Members can enjoy the event for £4, while new members are welcomed at £6. For youth attendees aged 12 to 15, membership tickets are available at £2, and new members at £3. Children under 12 years are invited to attend with a suggested donation of £2 to the Porthtowan Village Hall, supporting the venue and its offerings.
