Driver Seriously Injured in Redruth Collision on Tolgus Hill
Emergency services called to Tolgus Hill on Friday evening
A driver has been left with life-threatening injuries after a serious collision in Redruth on Friday 1st August.
The incident happened at around 7.10pm on Tolgus Hill and involved a single vehicle — a white Ford Fiesta.
Police have confirmed that the driver was taken to hospital with injuries described as life-threatening.
Road closed overnight
Officers from the Roads Policing Team were at the scene for several hours while an investigation was carried out. The road remained closed until approximately 3am on Saturday 2nd August, when it was handed over to highways.
Devon and Cornwall Police have thanked the public for their patience during the closure.
Police appeal for dashcam footage
Officers are now asking for anyone who witnessed the collision or may have relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
