Cornwall Council Hosts Waste and Recycling Information Event in Saltash
In a continued effort to inform and engage with the community regarding environmental services, Cornwall Council is set to host another roadshow event dedicated to waste and recycling. The event, aimed at providing detailed information about the changes to food waste, recycling, and rubbish services, is scheduled to take place in Saltash this week.
Residents of Saltash and surrounding areas are invited to attend the drop-in session at Burraton Community Centre, located at PL12 4JB. The event is set for Wednesday, March 6, from 4 pm to 7 pm. This gathering offers a prime opportunity for community members to learn more about the council’s updated waste management services, including enhancements and adjustments to the existing food waste, recycling, and rubbish disposal systems.
The council encourages all interested individuals to come along to the event, where they can hear directly from experts about the latest changes and how these may affect their waste disposal routines. The roadshow serves as a platform for residents to ask questions, voice concerns, and gain a clearer understanding of the council’s efforts to improve environmental sustainability through effective waste management practices.
By participating in this event, community members can contribute to a more sustainable future for Cornwall, ensuring that waste is managed efficiently and responsibly.
