Police Appeal After Assault at The Wild Gardens Festival in Port Eliot
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious injuries in an assault at The Wild Gardens Festival in Port Eliot.
What Happened at Port Eliot
The incident occurred between 3pm and 4pm on Saturday 19th July at the male toilet block. It was reported that a man was punched multiple times by a topless male suspect, leaving him with serious head and facial injuries that required hospital treatment.
Suspect Arrested
The suspect, described as a man in his 30s from Plymouth, was detained by security staff before police arrived. He was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and later released on police bail.
Police Appeal
Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant footage to come forward.
