Work Starts on New Playgrounds in Saltash: Grassmere Way and Honeysuckle Close to be Transformed
Saltash is set to welcome two exciting new playgrounds, with work already underway at Grassmere Way play park in Pillmere. This project follows a successful bid in the third round of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding process.
Grassmere Way Play Park Transformation Begins
Saltash Town Council announced that, after a competitive tendering process, Creative Play UK was selected to carry out the redevelopment work. The project at Grassmere Way play park has officially kicked off, with the aim of creating a dynamic and imaginative space for children to enjoy. The new playground will feature state-of-the-art equipment designed to encourage creativity and physical activity.
Honeysuckle Close Play Park Next in Line
Once the work at Grassmere Way is completed, attention will turn to the nearby Honeysuckle Close play park. Like Grassmere Way, it was included in the same successful funding bid. Both projects promise to bring fresh, exciting facilities to the area, offering plenty of space for children to explore and play.
Watch This Space for More Updates
Saltash Town Council has encouraged residents to keep an eye out for further updates on the progress of both parks. The redevelopment of these play areas is expected to be a significant improvement for the community, providing new opportunities for outdoor fun.
