South West Water brings Customer Roadshow to Looe on 29th January

South West Water is set to visit Looe next week as part of its ongoing Customer Roadshow series, which has already engaged over 1,000 customers across the South West region. The event will take place on Wednesday, 29th January, from 12pm to 4pm at the Millpool Centre in West Looe.

Meet the Team and Learn About Local Investments

The event offers residents a chance to meet South West Water’s teams in person and learn about the company’s plans for investment both locally and regionally. The roadshow will be organised with informal market stalls, allowing attendees to speak directly with subject experts on topics such as environmental improvements, increasing water resources, and support for customers struggling with bills.

South West Water is currently investing £2.5 billion across the South West region over the next five years. Locally, around £500,000 is being spent in Looe to improve bathing water quality by March this year. This includes efforts to reduce the use of storm overflows by preventing seawater from entering the sewer network during heavy rainfall, which can overwhelm the system and cause overflow discharges.

Why You Should Attend

Dani Twelvetree, Head of Customer Communication and Engagement at South West Water, highlighted the importance of these events, saying:

“Our roadshows give us the important opportunity to meet with our customers in person and discuss our investment plans while answering any questions they may have. This is really important to us, and we look forward to visiting Looe and getting to meet locals who want to learn more about what we do.”
