Tavonga Kuleya Joins Truro City on Loan from Doncaster Rovers

Truro City have bolstered their squad with the addition of winger Tavonga Kuleya on a short-term loan from League Two side Doncaster Rovers.

Talented Winger with EFL Experience

Tavonga Kuleya, a promising 20-year-old winger, has joined Truro City on a one-month loan deal from Doncaster Rovers. Born in Bradford and of Zimbabwean descent, Tavonga has already made a name for himself with a series of impressive performances across various leagues.

Tavonga made his first-team debut for Doncaster Rovers in September 2021 during an EFL Trophy match against Scunthorpe United. Since then, he has accumulated valuable experience through multiple loan spells at clubs including FC United of Manchester, Marske United, Sheffield FC, Gainsborough Trinity, and Matlock Town.

Looking Ahead to Truro City’s Pre-Season Friendly

As part of the deal, Tavonga will feature in Truro City’s final pre-season friendly against Gloucester City this Saturday. The match will offer fans a first glimpse of what the talented winger can bring to the team.

Last season, Tavonga made five league appearances for Doncaster Rovers, with his final outing coming in a 3-0 victory over MK Dons on New Year’s Day. His versatility and attacking prowess are expected to add depth to Truro City’s squad during his loan spell.
