Yassine En-Neyah Signs New Multi-Year Contract with Truro City
New Deal for Truro City Midfielder
Truro City have confirmed that midfielder Yassine En-Neyah has signed a new multi-year contract with the club.
Born in Morocco but raised in Ireland, Yassine began his football journey with Corduff and Bohemians before joining Nottingham Forest in 2017. During his four years at the City Ground, he made one senior appearance in an Emirates FA Cup tie at Chelsea in January 2020.
After leaving Forest in 2021, Yassine returned to Ireland with Shelbourne and Waterford before moving to Truro City, where he was part of the Southern League promotion-winning squad that beat Bracknell in May 2023.
From Colchester Back to Truro
Following promotion with Truro, Yassine secured a move to Colchester United but returned to the Tinners after just one season. Earlier this year, he helped guide Truro to National League South success.
Yassine on His Future
Speaking to trurocity.co.uk, Yassine said:
“I’m so happy and glad to commit my future to Truro for a long time. I want to carry on and progress my career, at a club that is looking upwards.
“My goal is to help Truro establish themselves in the National League and then progress further. I have always stuck to my goals and certainly at Truro I have achieved them with two promotions.
“One of the main reasons for signing a new contract is that Truro feels like home for me. I feel comfortable because I have met so many good people, who are like an extended family to me.
“I couldn’t imagine myself being anywhere else apart from in Cornwall and playing in front of our fans, who I have a special relationship with.”
