Famous Faces Set to Turn Heads at St Austell Jewson Reopening

The reopening of the Jewson branch in St Austell will be officially marked on 6th February 2026, with celebrity guests and a full morning of activities planned at the newly refurbished site.

Builders and tradespeople are invited to visit the branch at Holmbush Industrial Estate to see what’s changed, explore the expanded product range and take part in the celebrations.

Celebrities and challenges on the day

Celebrity guests confirmed for the event include football legends Peter Reid, Jimmy Bullard and Nigel Martyn, who will be taking part in sporting challenges against guests.

Cornish comedian Johnny Cowling will host a Q&A session, while visitors can also expect live entertainment, supplier demonstrations, special deals and freebies throughout the morning.

Complimentary food and drink stalls will be available, and the famous Dulux dog will be attending alongside other suppliers.

What’s new at the St Austell branch

The refurbished branch now stocks thousands of additional products and materials, giving tradespeople access to more supplies in one place. Jewson has expanded its tool hire range, added a new kitchen and bathroom centre, and introduced a wider choice of workwear and footwear.

Drive in loading bays provide access to undercover timber, helping protect materials from the elements. The branch also features a dedicated roofing range, supported by an in branch roofing specialist.

Jewson says the team will now be fully based on the branch floor, reflecting customer feedback gathered during the refurbishment.

Support services for tradespeople

Customers visiting the branch can also access Project Estimator, an estimating service designed to help save time during planning stages, win more work and reduce material costs. Free hot drinks will be available, with food also on sale.

Opening times and location

Jewson St Austell has remained open throughout the refurbishment. The branch is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm, and Saturday from 8am to 12pm, located at Holmbush Industrial Estate, Manfield Way, St Austell, PL25 3HQ.
