Dignity Ken Newcombe Funeral Directors Introduces Mini Memory Tree in St Austell
Dignity Ken Newcombe Funeral Directors in St Austell has unveiled a Mini Memory Tree, an extension of the cherished Christmas memorial tree tradition, now available year-round. Aimed at offering families a way to remember and honour their lost loved ones, the tree allows individuals to write personal messages on tags and hang them as a form of tribute.
This new feature comes in response to the positive reception of the Christmas memorial tree, prompting the funeral directors to create a miniature version that can be utilised at any time of the year. It serves as a space for bereaved families to commemorate special anniversaries and occasions or simply to keep the memory of someone special alive.
Located in the reception area of the St Austell branch, the Mini Memory Tree is open to everyone wishing to add a tag. In an inclusive gesture, the funeral directors also offer to assist those who cannot visit in person. Families can send their messages to the branch’s Facebook page, and a tag will be placed on the tree on their behalf.
The Mini Memory Tree is timely introduced ahead of Mother’s Day, welcoming all who wish to remember and celebrate their mothers and other loved ones. Tags placed on the tree will be kept for a few months before they are taken to Glynn Valley Memorial Gardens. There, they will be posted in the “Letters to Heaven” post-box and privately cremated, following a tradition similar to that of the Christmas memorial tags.
Dignity Ken Newcombe Funeral Directors encourages the community to spread the word about the Mini Memory Tree, inviting more families to partake in this act of remembrance. The initiative reflects the funeral directors’ commitment to providing compassionate support and a means for families to keep the memories of their loved ones alive throughout the year.
