Dog Attack in St Austell Park Leaves Pet Needing Emergency Treatment

Police appeal for witnesses after early morning incident in Poltair Park

Police are asking for help following a dog attack in a St Austell park which left another pet needing emergency vet care.

The incident happened at around 8am on Thursday 24th April in Poltair Park, when a light-brown-coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier is believed to have attacked a black-and-white English Pointer.

The injured Pointer required urgent treatment from a vet.

Police Want to Speak to This Man

Officers would like to identify and speak to the owner of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who is described as a white man, aged between 60 and 80, around 5ft 10in tall, of slim build with short hair. He was reportedly wearing tinted glasses and all-black clothing at the time of the incident.
