Police Appeal After Assault Outside NatWest in St Austell
Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man in connection with a serious assault outside a bank in St Austell.
Attack Outside NatWest
The incident took place on Thursday 20th June on Church Street, outside NatWest Bank. A man in his 50s was with a friend at a cashpoint when they were approached by an unknown man who began shouting abuse.
The man then launched a physical assault, kicking and punching the victim in the stomach and arm. As a result of the attack, the victim sustained a broken arm.
Man Sought by Police
Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the incident and have released a photo of a man they would like to speak to, as he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
They are urging anyone who recognises the man pictured or has information about the incident to get in touch.
