Police Appeal After Collision in St Austell Leaves Motorcyclist Injured

Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a collision in St Austell which left a motorcyclist in hospital.

Collision on Poltair Road

Officers were called to Poltair Road at around 12.55pm on Thursday 28th August after a collision involving a white Mercedes A180 car and an orange and black Honda CBR500 motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. He remains there undergoing treatment, though his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police Appeal for Information

A police spokesperson said:

“We are appealing for witnesses and footage following a road traffic collision in St Austell.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dash-cam footage that could help is asked to call 101 or visit the Devon & Cornwall Police website quoting reference 50250224034.
