St Austell Fire Station Open Day Raises Over £4k for Charities
St Austell Community Fire Station’s recent open day has been hailed as a huge success, raising £4,174.32 for two local charities: the Fire Fighters Charity and Little Harbour Hospice, part of Children’s Hospice South West.
The event attracted a large number of visitors, with fundraising activities, including a raffle, contributing to the impressive total. The station has confirmed that raffle winners will be contacted in the coming days.
A Day of Community Spirit
Visitors enjoyed live music from the St Dennis ukulele group, and local organisations, including CHAOS Radio, St Austell Coastguard, and St Austell Police, engaged with attendees throughout the day.
