St Austell Leisure Centre Offers Free Warm Space and Hot Drinks
St Austell Leisure Centre is opening its doors to anyone needing a cosy place to relax this winter, offering free hot drinks as part of the Warm Welcome Space campaign.
Free cuppas three days a week
The centre will be providing a free hot cuppa on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1pm to 3pm for anyone wanting to get in from the cold. The campaign focuses on offering comfortable community spaces at a time when millions of people in the UK are living in poverty and many experience chronic loneliness.
A place to unwind
Karen Edmond, GLL’s Community Sport Manager, said the team is pleased to be involved.
“We’re delighted to be playing our part in such an important and widespread initiative,” said Karen.
“Our St Austell Leisure Centre café is a good place to chill out, enjoy a refreshing drink and meet new people. Come along, relax and enjoy the environment.”
