Walk, Explore and Support: What’s Happening at Caerhays Castle This Mother’s Day?
A special Mother’s Day event is planned at Caerhays Castle Gardens on Sunday 30th March 2025, with a scenic walk, castle tours, sweet treats and a chance to support breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel!
One-Hour Garden Walk with Photo Stops
The walk through the historic gardens will take around an hour, with signposted ‘stops’ for visitors to snap the perfect photo – or selfie – as they enjoy the spring blooms.
Visitors are encouraged to wear as much pink as possible, with Caerhays donating a percentage of garden entry fees to CoppaFeel! The more people who attend, the more money raised.
Castle Tours and Tearoom Delights
The castle will be open for guided tours on the Sunday, with slots at 11.30am, 1.00pm and 2.30pm. Tickets are available to pre-book online, with a limited number also reserved for walk-ins on the day.
After exploring the gardens, visitors can refuel at the Magnolia Tearooms, which will be “bursting with cakes and goodies” – the perfect boost after a woodland stroll.
Dog-Friendly and Easy Parking
Dogs on leads are welcome, and free parking will be available at nearby Porthluney beach.
The walk begins at 10.30am, with visitors asked to meet by the plant sales area next to the entry/shop. Tickets can be booked online or paid for on arrival.
