New Booking System Introduced for St Erth Recycling Centre Next Week
New Rules for St Erth Household Waste and Recycling Centre Visitors
From Monday, 23rd September, visitors to the St Erth household waste and recycling centre will need to book a time slot in advance. Cornwall Council has announced that this change is aimed at reducing traffic and wait times at the site.
The new booking system follows a similar process already in place at the Newquay and Saltash centres. Users can book a 30-minute slot either online here or by calling 0300 1234 141.
How to Book a Slot
Residents can secure a slot for the same day, provided there are spaces available, or up to a week in advance. This allows more flexibility for those planning a trip to dispose of their waste or recycling.
Benefits of the New System
The booking system is designed to streamline the process for residents, ensuring that the centre remains efficient and accessible. With traffic and wait times expected to reduce, it should be a smoother experience for those visiting the facility.
