Details Announced for St Ives Remembrance Sunday and Remembrance Day Services

St Ives will come together next month to remember those who gave their lives in service, with details now confirmed for both Remembrance Sunday and Remembrance Day.

Remembrance Sunday – 9th November 2025

The Royal British Legion and other organisations will assemble at The Guildhall, St Ives at 10.40 a.m. before the parade proceeds to the War Memorial via Tregenna Place and High Street at 10.50 a.m.

At 11.00 a.m., following the traditional two minutes of silence, wreaths will be laid beginning with the Mayoral Wreath, followed by the Royal British Legion and others.

The parade will then leave the War Memorial at 11.15 a.m. and proceed to the Parish Church for the Service.

After the service concludes, the parade will return to the Guildhall where the National Anthem will be played before the parade is dismissed.

Remembrance Day – 11th November 2025

On Remembrance Day itself, representatives from the Royal British Legion and the Town Council will gather at the St Ives War Memorial at 10.50 a.m.

A two-minute silence will be observed at 11.00 a.m. to remember the fallen.

Both occasions will offer moments of reflection and remembrance for the community of St Ives.
