Sunny Skies and Lifeboats: Highlights from The Lizard RNLI Lifeboat Station’s Lifeboat Day
On Sunday, 28th July, The Lizard RNLI Lifeboat Station hosted its annual Lifeboat Day under beautiful sunny skies. The event drew numerous visitors who were eager to support the station and enjoy the various activities.
Exciting Lifeboat Exercises
A highlight of the day was the exercise performed by RNLB Rose, which thrilled many onlookers. The station was also pleased to welcome colleagues from the Falmouth Lifeboat, who joined in the exercise. Their presence added to the excitement and showcased the collaborative spirit of the RNLI teams.
Community Involvement

Food, Fun, and Entertainment
Attendees were treated to delicious offerings from Ann’s Pasties, Gwella Dairy, and Shoreline Pizzeria, while Phil Greet and Johnny Richards provided entertainment. Jane’s Glitter Tattoos added a touch of sparkle, much to the delight of the younger visitors.
