Cornwall based self catering specialist Beach Retreats has taken home a top honour at The British Travel Awards, winning Best Small Company for UK Holiday Home Rentals for 2025. The win firmly places the company as a leading name in the sector, recognised by both guests and travel experts.

Beach Retreats operates across Cornwall, offering holiday lets just metres from the sea and focusing on giving guests a stay that is fully rooted in coastal living. According to the company, the award reflects its dedication to looking after guests before, during and after their break.

Strong Support from Guests

The business reports strong occupancy rates and a high number of repeat bookings. Winning the award, which is decided entirely by public vote, highlights the loyalty of its guests and the experience provided across its portfolio. The British Travel Awards, the largest consumer poll for leisure travel in the UK, announced the winners at a gala event held at Grosvenor House on 8th December 2025.

The company also notes that its work has had a positive effect on the wider Cornish economy by increasing awareness of the county and encouraging more visitors.
