It’s these sentimental connections that holidaycottages.co.uk is looking to explore, as it launches a nationwide hunt for the UK’s ultimate “happy places”.

From tearooms with unforgettable scones to hidden woodland trails, the team is hoping to uncover both cherished destinations and hidden gems that bring joy to travellers year after year.

To celebrate the best of British breaks, five people will win a stay worth up to £1,000 to revisit their happy place.
