Three Mile Beach, a boutique resort nestled in the picturesque North-West Cornwall, has achieved a remarkable milestone.
Partnering with Profitroom, the resort has soared to a 95% direct booking rate within its first year, marking a significant triumph in a fiercely competitive market.
Tech-Savvy Solutions Propel Growth
Situated off the coast of St Ives Bay, a location revered as a ‘surfers’ paradise’, Three Mile Beach offers 15 luxury beach houses, each providing a unique premium self-catering experience. Despite its allure, the resort faced challenges in effectively showcasing available dates, resulting in a disjointed booking experience and revenue loss.
The introduction of Profitroom’s advanced cart abandonment and availability navigation systems has been transformative. These tools have contributed an additional 5% to the resort’s revenue by addressing issues like “unavailable” notifications and lack of reminders for abandoned carts.

Three Mile Beach was keen to reduce its dependence on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and ensure a smooth integration of new technology with its existing Point of Sale (POS) system.
