Unexpected Road Closure Extension Due to Weather Disruptions – B3277 link road from Chiverton junction to the Services roundabout
B3277 Link Road Closure Extended Until Sunday Morning
In a recent update from National Highways: South-West, motorists are advised of an extension to the closure of the B3277 link road from Chiverton junction to the Services roundabout. The closure, initially planned to conclude today (Friday 12th July), will now remain in place until Sunday, 14th July, at 7:30 am due to adverse weather conditions experienced over the past week. The diversion route will continue to be in operation during this period.
Temporary Traffic Lights on A3075
Further to this, temporary traffic lights will be installed on the A3075 near Chiverton junction starting Monday, 15 July. These traffic lights will be operational from 9 am to 3 pm during the day and from 6 pm to 6 am at night, from Monday to Friday, 19 July. This measure aims to minimize disruption during peak travel times.
Plan Ahead for Smooth Journeys
With these changes in place, motorists are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel. The temporary traffic arrangements are part of the ongoing upgrade project on the A30, which is of strategic importance to the region.
