148 Handcrafted Hats Delivered: Truro Wool’s Christmas Effort Warms Hearts

Truro Wool has successfully concluded its seasonal project, the “Bobble Tree of Kindness,” by delivering 148 hand-knitted and crocheted hats to local charities St Petrocs and Cornwall Refuge Trust. These thoughtful gifts aim to provide warmth and comfort to individuals supported by these organisations during the festive season.

The Bobble Tree of Kindness, now in its third year, encourages community members to create and donate handmade hats. This year, the initiative saw a significant increase in participation, with contributions from both local residents and supporters from further afield.

In a Facebook post, Truro Wool expressed gratitude to all who participated, stating, “Together, we’ve shared a little extra love this season, reminding those going through tough times that they’re not alone.”
