Truro Cathedral will mark the 80th anniversary of international development agency Christian Aid with a special exhibition opening next week.

Eight Decades of Change

Running from Monday, 10th November to Sunday, 16th November, the display features eight decades of images and campaign posters showcasing Christian Aid’s work in vulnerable communities across the world.

The exhibition traces how the organisation’s messaging has evolved over the years while highlighting the continuing importance of its work supporting people of all faiths and none. Christian Aid continues to provide both emergency aid and longer-term support projects in partnership with communities globally.

Talk and Community Lunch

On Sunday, 16th November, Dr Frances Clemson, Christian Aid’s Faith Communications specialist, will speak during the main Eucharist service at 10am, offering further insight into the organisation’s aims and current projects.

The morning will conclude with a bring and share lunch, open to those attending the service and exhibition.
