Appeal Following Car and Moped Collision in Truro
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a car and a moped in Truro.
Officers were called at around 1.50pm on Wednesday 21st January after a road traffic collision on the roundabout next to Sainsbury’s, on the main A390.
What Happened
The collision involved a silver Ford KA car and a white Piaggio Vespa 125cc motorcycle.
As a result of the collision, a 49-year-old motorcyclist from the Newquay area sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Police have confirmed that her next of kin are aware.
Appeal for Information
Officers have thanked members of the public for their patience while road closures were in place.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dash-cam footage that could assist the investigation is asked to contact police via their website or by calling 101, quoting log number 379 of 21st January.
