Police Appeal After Cars Damaged in Truro
Police are appealing for digital images and footage after a series of criminal damage incidents in the Malabar area of Truro.
Five Months of Reports
Numerous incidents have been reported to police between 24th April and Sunday 7th September 2025. Many of the cases involved car paintwork being damaged and tyres slashed.
Neighbourhood Beat Manager PC Wilson said:
“We have been carrying out enquiries into these reports as part of our investigation. This has resulted in a 39-year-old man from Truro being arrested in connection to the incidents. He has been released on police bail with several conditions.”
Appeal for Digital Material
Police are asking residents around Richards Crescent to share any digital material that could help with the investigation.
PC Wilson added:
“We are encouraging anyone in the local area in and around Richards Crescent who may have digital images or footage of the criminal damage to their motor vehicles to send us their material.
“We are keen to see any CCTV or doorbell footage of any suspicious movements in the early hours of the morning over the last six months.”
