New 1950s-Style Diner Opens in Truro’s Cathedral Lane
A new diner has opened its doors in Truro, bringing a mix of 1950s nostalgia and classic comfort food to the city centre.
Ruck n Roll Diner opens its doors
Ruck n Roll Diner opened at 11 Cathedral Lane on Saturday, located between the Scentstore and Cathedral Jewellers Ltd. The opening was shared by Truro BID.
The diner is owned by Ed Ruck and Jenna, who are blending retro American diner style with a local feel. The menu includes burgers, thick shakes, local coffee and other classic diner dishes, alongside vintage tunes.
Vegan options and upstairs space
Alongside traditional diner food, the Ruck n Roll Diner also offers vegan and vegetarian options. Inside, customers can expect a retro jukebox vibe, with an additional private event space upstairs.
Opening times
Ruck n Roll Diner is currently open from 9am until 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
The new venue adds another food option to Cathedral Lane, a short walk from Truro city centre.
