St Piran’s Day Parade Returns to Truro on 5th March 2026
Truro’s annual St Piran’s Day Parade is set to return in 2026, with preparations already underway for the city centre celebration.
Organised by Truro City Council in partnership with Truro Old Cornwall Society and Salt Projects Ltd, the parade will take place on Thursday 5th March 2026.
The event will celebrate Cornwall’s patron saint with traditional dance, music and a strong sense of community.
Parade route and timings
Residents and visitors are encouraged to gather on Lemon Quay from 12.30pm, ahead of the procession setting off at 1.00pm.
This year’s parade will follow a longer route than in previous years, starting on Lemon Quay and finishing at High Cross. Full route details will be released closer to the event.
Shop window competition returns
City centre businesses are being invited to take part in the annual St Piran’s Day Shop Window Competition.
Judging will take place on the morning of Thursday 5th March by the Deputy Mayor of Truro, Loic Rich, alongside Truro’s Town Crier, Lionel Knight.
Businesses wishing to take part are asked to contact Truro City Council via email at events@truro.gov.uk.
