Vertigo Reopens in Truro Following Renovation and Launches December Events

Truro’s neighbourhood bar, Vertigo, has reopened following a significant renovation, returning with a trio of seasonal drinks events to mark the occasion.

The independently owned bar is welcoming people back in time for Christmas, with a refreshed interior and a new events series hosted in its drawing room.

A Refreshed Space with Georgian Roots

The updated design honours the building’s Georgian heritage, with original period features carefully preserved. These are complemented by handpicked antiques and a timeless Farrow & Ball colourway throughout.

The result combines understated elegance with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, alongside Vertigo’s continued focus on quality cocktails, fine spirits and relaxed service.

Three December Drinks Experiences

To celebrate reopening, Vertigo is launching three December drinks experiences designed for festive socialising, skill sharing and relaxed enjoyment.

Cocktail Tasting Menu – Saturday 20th December

Guests are welcomed with a glass of Camel Valley wine, followed by five expertly crafted cocktails. Each drink is paired with thoughtful bites, creating a cosy seasonal tasting experience.

Christmas Wine Tasting with Elly Owen – Monday 22nd December

Award winning sommelier Elly Owen guides guests through six hand picked festive wines, chosen to pair with seasonal favourites and Christmas celebrations.

Martini Masterclass – Saturday 27th December

A hands on session exploring the art of the martini, from Espresso to Pornstar. Guests can then test their skills in a friendly cocktail challenge.

A Space for More Than Just Drinks

The new Drawing Room also offers the perfect setting for private events, giving the space a fresh lease of life and opening new possibilities for people to come together.”

The drawing room is now also available for private hire, complete with service from Vertigo’s bartending team.
