Snow and Ice Cause Possible Delays to Bin Collections in Cornwall

Residents across Cornwall are being advised that some waste collections may be delayed over the next few days due to snow and ice affecting parts of the county.

Cornwall Council has said that food waste, rubbish, recycling and garden waste collections could be impacted while crews deal with difficult conditions.

Households are being asked to leave their bins out on their usual collection day. Crews will aim to collect them as soon as it is safe to do so.

If a collection cannot be made on the scheduled day, the council says teams will aim to return the following day where possible.
