10/01/2026 – Weather in Cornwall
Cornwall is set for a change in the weather over the coming days, with wetter and windier conditions moving in as temperatures begin to rise.
Cold Start Before Conditions Change
This evening and tonight will begin dry, but it will turn colder with some patchy frost developing. Cloud is expected to build later, bringing outbreaks of rain and possibly some sleet over higher ground. Winds will strengthen overnight as milder air moves into Cornwall by dawn. The minimum temperature is forecast to be around 3°C.
Unsettled Sunday Ahead
Sunday is expected to bring an unsettled end to the weekend. Outbreaks of rain are forecast, turning heavy at times. It will often be windy, particularly around coasts and hills. Despite the wet and blustery conditions, it will feel milder than recent days, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 11°C.
Milder but Unsettled Next Week
Looking ahead to Monday through to Wednesday, conditions are expected to stay mild. Periods of heavy showers or longer spells of rain are forecast, with winds strengthening at times. There will also be some occasional brighter interludes mixed in.
