Evening Talks Planned on Grey Squirrel Management in Cornwall
A series of evening talks is being held this week to explain how grey squirrel management can help protect trees, biodiversity and property across Cornwall.
The events are being organised by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Nature Partnership and are open to everyone, with a particular focus on local property managers.
What the talks will cover
Guest speaker Jackie Foott will outline the current local and national situation around grey squirrels. The talks will also look at how red squirrels could be re introduced in the future, followed by a group discussion.
When and where
The talks all start at 7pm and are taking place at three locations across Cornwall:
-
Wednesday 7th January at The Star Inn
-
Thursday 8th January at Rosuick Farm
-
Friday 9th January at Borough Arms
Who can attend
Although the sessions are targeted towards local property managers, everybody is welcome to attend.
Anyone planning to go is asked to RSVP by emailing cornwall@redsquirrelsouthwest.org.uk.
