Cornwall’s Christmas Markets: Dates, Details and What to Expect in 2025
Cornwall is already warming up for the festive season, with Christmas markets and fairs returning to towns and villages across the county from late November. From large multi day events at Truro and Wadebridge to smaller community markets in Charlestown and Looe, this year’s line up brings together local makers, food producers and festive entertainment. Here is a full round up of confirmed dates and what each event is offering in 2025.
Truro Christmas Market
Truro Christmas Market returns to Lemon Quay from 21st November to 24th December 2025, bringing 34 straight days of festive shopping and entertainment to the city. The quay will once again be transformed into a cosy Christmas village, complete with the well known wooden cabins, twinkling lights and a warm festive atmosphere.
Visitors can browse a wide range of local crafts, handmade gifts and seasonal food and drink, all created by talented makers and producers from across Cornwall. With daily opening throughout the run up to Christmas, it’s an easy place to pick up presents, enjoy a bite to eat or simply take in the festive feel.

Eden Project Christmas Fair
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Eden Project in Cornwall, this year’s fair takes place on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 November 2025.
Visitors should note that admission requires a dedicated fair ticket — regular Eden Project entry does not grant access to the fair.
What to expect

With up to 70 independent stalls from Cornwall and beyond, the fair is the perfect early-season place to find thoughtful gifts, home accessories, jewellery and local food treats.

The preview evening on 19 November runs from 17:00 to 21:00, with the main fair open on 20 November from 10:00 to 16:00.

Cornwall Christmas Market at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge
This year the Cornwall Christmas Market returns to the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge from Friday 12 December to Sunday 14 December 2025.
This large winter market promises a traditional Christmas atmosphere with food, drink, artisan gifts, live music, reindeer, street performers and a visit from Santa. More than 120 traders will be selling handcrafted items, from arts and crafts to food and drink.

Looe Christmas Market
30th November and 14th December 2025
The Quayside Centre in West Looe will host two Christmas markets, offering a range of gifts from local makers and artisan stalls.
Charlestown Christmas Market
Held at Penrice Academy on Charlestown Road in St Austell (PL25 3NR), this market features food, drink and craft stalls inside the Sports Hall and Drama Studio. The venue offers ample parking and indoor space. Entertainment from local choirs and musical groups will run throughout the weekend.

Padstow Christmas Fayre
This free, four day event is set to brighten Padstow with a celebration of Cornish food and drink. Across the weekend, 50 chefs will host live demos and masterclasses, including well known names such as Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth, Emily Scott and Mark Hix.
Expect an artisan market, lantern parade, fireworks, live music, carols and family activities. The fayre is community led and will raise funds for Hospitality Action, The Fisherman’s Mission and Padstow Lifeboat.

Bedruthan Christmas Fair
This event features more than 40 exhibitors selling art, crafts, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, homewares and food. A creche is available for shoppers, and the hotel’s restaurant will offer Sunday lunch and afternoon tea with sea views.

Cornwall Gold Indoor Christmas Market
Cornwall Gold will host its indoor Christmas market from 4th to 7th December 2025, offering a warm and weatherproof festive shopping experience inside the historic Tolgus Mill. The event is free to enter, dog-friendly and includes free parking, making it an easy stop for Christmas gifts and local produce.
More than 50 Cornish stallholders will be taking part, selling handmade ceramics, sustainable food and drink, jewellery and a range of craft items. Visitors can also explore the newly updated site, including the refreshed Cornish Pantry café.
Thursday and Friday will include photo-keepsake sessions with Sadie Jill Photography, and Father Christmas will be appearing every day throughout the event.

Polmanter Christmas Market
A new addition to Cornwall’s festive calendar, the Polmanter Christmas Market will take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November at the award-winning Polmanter Touring Park in St Ives. The event is just five minutes from the town centre and offers free entry, free parking and a warm welcome for families and dogs.
Visitors can expect locally made gifts, handmade crafts and festive food and drink, including mulled wine and giant pigs-in-blanket hotdogs. There will also be wreath-making workshops and a soft play area for children, making it a relaxed Christmas shopping experience for all ages.
The market will be supporting St Ives RNLI across the weekend.
