Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust Seeks Site for Mobile Breast Screening Unit in Newquay
Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust is asking for help to secure a location in or around Newquay for its mobile breast screening unit.
The Trust says the unit is searching for a suitable site that would allow vital breast screening services to be provided to the Newquay community.

What the unit needs
The location must be in Newquay or, if outside the town, on a bus route. The site also needs to meet several practical requirements.
These include a flat surface, access to 2 phase electricity with 3 phase preferred but not essential, and a water supply. The Trust has said it can cover installation costs.
Any space offered would need to be available from Spring 2027, for a period of four months every two and a half to three years.
How people can help
The Trust is asking anyone who knows a landowner, business, organisation or community space that could help to come forward. Support from the community could help bring breast screening services closer to home for people in and around Newquay.
